Bathrooms often suffer from reoccurring mould issues such as this one. The issue here was the existing fan flow rate was very poor when tested so although it made a noise it wasn’t moving the moisture. We replaced the fan with a more powerful unit and then did a mould wash and painted the ceiling, so the customer has piece of mind the mould won’t come back.

We often get called out to help solve mould forming in bedrooms , the average person breathes out 2 pints of moisture a night so this can create a lot of mould if the moisture condenses on cold surfaces.
In older style properties its common to have a curve in the ceiling that’s not insulated so as can be seen in the picture mould has formed on this cold surface.
The lines in the mould are where the joists are as they are warmer so mould will go either side on the colder surface !!!! look familiar ?

Under the Housing health and safety rating system (HRSRS) mould is listed as a category one hazard so it is on the same list as other category one hazards such as lead pipes and asbestos . We offer solutions to not only treat the cause of the mould but also we offer mould washes that are safe and very effective you can see how effective our treatments are in these pictures !!
